I selected Bill Cosby to write a biography on because i feel like he was a great role model for young African American males. Some of his accomplishments were the Bill Cosby show, and when he acted as a black street agent and won three Emmy Awards and helped to advance the status of African Americans on TV.Bill was born and raised in Philly. For most of his childhood Bill's dad was away in the armed forces and spent lots of time fighting in world war ||.He said as a child he was a class clown but loved his sports and was the captain of both the baseball and the track teams.Once he got to high school he went to Central magnet school and all he focused on was his sports but it was hard for him because he had to work before and after school selling produce, shining shoes, and stocking shelves to help his family.Bill Cosby made an impact by setting an example for young African American male, basically telling them that no matter how tough your childhood is or if you don't have a father in your life you can still make it,it just takes hard work.

2.“The word "We" is as lime poured over men, which sets and hardens to stone, and crushes all beneath it, and that which is white and that which is black are lost equally in the grey of it. It is the word by which the depraved steal the virtue of the good, by which the weak steal the might of the strong, by which the fools steal the wisdom of the sages.

What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

But I am done with this creed of corruption.

I am done with the monster of "We," the word of serfdom, of plunder, of misery, falsehood and shame.

And now I see the face of god, and I raise this god over the earth, this god whom men have sought since men came into being, this god who will grant them joy and peace and pride.

This god, this one word:

"I.”
3.To me a dystopia would be a world where nothing is fair or where people cant live as a individual person, everything is alike and if your are different you are shaped to be the same as the others.

4.The boy in the story anthem is special because he is smarter than the others. In our minds we think that being smart is good thing but but in a dystopia like there world it is an advantage over others. They look at him as trying to be different but its something that he cant help.

5.One part of the world that equality lives

6.The hardest thing to live without would be individuality because if i cant be me and have to curve things that i say or have to put on a front so that i dont get punished i wouldnt be able to live.

7.Technology would be the easiest thing to live without because as long as there are other people around to talk to i would be ok.

8.They were successful because they all believed that they were brothers and had each others back.

9.If i had a utopia i would make it lower prices on everything, take all the people i know out of jail, make the ages for jobs 15 and older.I feel like my utopia would work because it allows younger kids to get a job so they can stay off the streets and im lowering the prices so that people will no longer steal.I dont think there would be any disadvantages or bad side effects.
