I was on my way to work, but i forgot to tell my husband i love him. So i took out my cellphone, as i crossed highway 55 into oncoming traffic. I over-corrected, i lost control of my car, and then it felt like i was in a washing machine. Then all of a sudden, i flipped and flying in the air. Then in a split second i had people running all around me and all i could say is "I'm paralyzed"...."I'm paralyzed". I couldn't sit up, eat,or even bathe on my own. I was a 31 year old baby............
There are many reasons why it should be banned. I causes the driver to think about something else other than driving. It also causes the driver to have to look away from the road and dial numbers respond to a text and even hang up and answer the phone. It also stops the drivers concentration, because the cant hear they may be a police car behind them trying to go around or even an ambulance truck with a dying person in it.Cellphones should never be used while driving no matter what the case is.
Using cellphones while driving is the cause for many accidents that can lead to injuries or even death.Whenever someone uses their phone when they're driving they never think about what can happen to another person or even them. For example say you look down at your phone and you take you eyes off the road for two seconds while your not looking at the road you can run into the car in front of you or swerve into other lanes which can cause one huge accident and many lives would be getting put on the line and not just yours. All this because you wanted to reply to a text or make a dumb phone call.
Some statistics on using our phone while driving is that driving makes a driver 23x more likely to crash.Studies show that texting while driving causes a 400% increase in time spent with eyes off the road.In 2012, 3,328 people were killed in distracted-related crashes. According to the Insurance Institute for highway safety, texting while driving kills 20 teens each day.
In conclusion cellphones should never be used while driving, because innocent people can die and your putting your life on the line for something that can wait.

I selected Bill Cosby to write a biography on because i feel like he was a great role model for young African American males. Some of his accomplishments were the Bill Cosby show, and when he acted as a black street agent and won three Emmy Awards and helped to advance the status of African Americans on TV.Bill was born and raised in Philly. For most of his childhood Bill's dad was away in the armed forces and spent lots of time fighting in world war ||.He said as a child he was a class clown but loved his sports and was the captain of both the baseball and the track teams.Once he got to high school he went to Central magnet school and all he focused on was his sports but it was hard for him because he had to work before and after school selling produce, shining shoes, and stocking shelves to help his family.Bill Cosby made an impact by setting an example for young African American male, basically telling them that no matter how tough your childhood is or if you don't have a father in your life you can still make it,it just takes hard work.
